I am gaining an appreciation for some of the work of some of these ‘50s pinup photographers (actually, from the hair and decor, I think this is early ‘60s). A lot of them really didn’t care, so long as they got tits and ass. Unless they’re otherwise interesting, like putting a set back together, I don’t bother with them. But, now and then you get one like this. From the dinette set pushed against the wall, I’m guessing this was shot in a small apartment using only natural light from a window. See how the lighting works – soft, diffused, yet providing a nice contrast. It’s really a nice portrait of the model’s face. As the saying goes, even a blind pig finds an acorn now and then.
P.S. note the brass platter mounted on the wall. I’m mentioned this now-passe’ decorative touch before.
